3 Blondes & a Beater

Who?
Romanda -a traveler at heart and one to always enjoy something crazy and ridulous, knew this was the trip for her the moment her friend mentioned it to her. She secured a spot with no teammates confirmed. However, she feels more than equipped as she once changed her tire and thus this makes her the mechanic.

She was begging and pleading with people to join her team when she realized she may have to give up and possibly travel alone until....

Amanda said "I am going to Mongolia, woot woot!". Amanda is super stoked to be traveling again and thinks it's going to be great fun in Montana...wait sorry that was Monglia. Yes, our dear sweet Amanda is a little bit  geographically challenged, which is why she will be our navigator!!!

 We did have a 3rd blonde as our name suggests, however Arianne is unable to continue on this once in a lifetime adventure. Therefore we have replaced her with the incredible, amazing, all star...

Suzie Q - This wonderful blow up doll will surely be a useful friend (or tool) to gain entrance into unkown territories!

What?
What the hell do we think we are doing? Incredibly enough we managed to secure a treasured spot in infamous Mongol Rally for 2010. What this means for us is that we will be driving from London, England, to Ulaanbaatar, the capital of Mongolia. It’s a journey of almost 10,000miles via a plethora of different countries most people haven’t heard of, tackling a whole array of different terrain, from the tarmac roads of Europe, to the middle of the Gobi desert- so a 4x4 is the obvious choice of vehicle. Well, we’re doing it all in a completely unsuitable 1 litre car! The car of course is going to be the star of the show, and the more comedic value it has the better it is...maybe we will find a cherry picker to take!?

When?
The Mongol Rally launches July 24, 2010. Of course, considering we must raise funds for two amazing charities (and attempt to cover some of our costs) we will be hosting an array of fundraising events leading up to the Rally. Keep coming back to hear what's happening!

Why?
#1 - Have bucket loads of crazy good times, racking up stories to tell our grandchildren (and stories that WON'T be told to our grandchildren!!!)

#2 - Raise tons of cash (minimum $2000) for some incredible Mongolian charities....The Christina Noble Foundation and the Children and Young People's Protection and Development
