Just came thru the hungary/romania border. Got stopped by the cops for not having our lights on. Unfortunately team 'The Chase' had to stay in Budapest because of engine trouble, looks like we won't be travelling with them thru Iran.

Got up this morning around 10.30ish. Had a bit of a late one due to the long drive yesterday from Prague, and the late arrival into Budapest. We were travelling with 3 other teams. One of them had to turn back with engine problems. We will see then later hopefully. We are on route at the moment in Hungry, and hope to cross in to Romania in the next hour or so. Its then on to famous Transylvania and Dracula's castle!

at the Sedlec Ossury, the amazing 'bone church'. Overflowing with 40,000 complete sets of human bones moulded into sculptures and decorations, it was quite eerie. Well worth the visit, but we're back on the road to Budapest.@

Got up this morning after another nights camping in a service area. Grabbed a couple of croissants for brekkie and got back on the road for 9ish. Making great time on the German Autobahn's. Might as well enjoy the good roads while we can (Even if our top speed is only 65 miles /h). Only another 150miles to Prague and the wonderful Czechout Party in an old Castle. Auf weidersehn from Germany.

Do you have a Carnet for Iran - a visa for Turkmenistan.
