The Adventurists

Hailing from Saskatchewan, Canada, team Saskatchistan is composed of Andrew Konoff and Spencer Pitzel. With a combined age of 41, our team weighs in at three hundred pounds, and stands 12'2" tall. This July, we will embark from the London launch to reach Mongolia by crappy roads in a crappy car, all for the sake of our charities.

Which charities were those, you ask? We have chosen to support the Mercy Corps and Oasis Regina.

But enough about us! Here's our blog!

Congatulations!! from all of us at Rose's house today -Rose, Wayne, Joan Gramps, Gamma, Jen, Jason, Ben. We are all so proud of you two. Henriette was praying a blue streak for you guys. When I showed her the road (or lack of ) on the map she asked, "Why do they go there?" I said you did it for the adventure. She said, What kind of !@#$%^ adventure is that?" She still doesn't know why I broke out laughing. Hurr4ah for you.

far flippin out guys. i've been struggling to login in to compliment you on this acheivement. so im metaphorically holding up on my shoulders to the cheering crowds. it seems you made it through without getting dragged through the feculant waters. i am relieved and very happy and glad that i didn't have to drive that route. you've made it more than half way round the world mostly in a little car. everyone i know here is impressed and envious. they can't they've been outdone by a couple of young guys. take care getting back the other half way

700 odd km til Ulaan Bataar and we'll be doing it with a broken front shock. Iggy is a symphony of noise now.

Well, it looks like we might end up fixing this thing. It can be welded, and the mechanics insist it'll hold till UB.

Andrew's passport is waterlogged after a light rainfall. Pro tip: tent zippers aren't watertight.
