We are.. SUPER MONGOL WONDER SQUAD.

UPDATE:

On the 24th of July 2010 we left Goodwood in the UK in an attempt to endeavour to to try to circum-navigate half the globe in aid of charity on the Mongol Rally 2010 !!.. On the 2nd of September, 42 days, 10,000 miles and countless adventures later, we made it to Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. To find out what happened to us along the way please feel free to read our Blog!

We were lucky enough to have the opportunity to visit the Christina Noble Children's Foundation Ger Village in Ulaanbaatar while we were there and have witnessed the excellent work they are doing to give the capital city's homeless and at risk children a second chance. If you haven't yet donated, please do, we are still raising money for both the CNCF and Cancer Research UK.

ORIGINAL:

We plan to journey from London, UK to Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, over 10,000 miles away, with nothing more than dodgy pocket compass and an old tourist map of the barcelona undergound that John picked up a few years back. We intend to do this in an ex-ambulance so that we can then donate the vehicle to the struggling mongolian health service once we reach Ulaanbaatar so that it may be used to save lives long after it has finished being of any real use here in the UK.

Our primary goal though is to raise as much money for charity, along the way, as is humanly possible. We aim to raise at least £1000 for the (Mongol Rally-approved) Christina Noble Children's Foundation - a truly worthy cause that provides homeless and abandoned children in mongolia and vietnam a new chance at life by providing them with a loving community and an education, where otherwise they would be targets for sexual exploitation and the child slave-trade (serious stuff).

Once we reach this target we would also like to raise as much money as possible for Cancer Research UK to help them maintain the outstanding research that help to changes lives everyday.
