The Adventurists

A car destined to die in the far off lands of mongol... and 2 norfolk lads wanting to witness it's tale

Sadly what I just wrote in the title of course is complete twittle as unfortunately after I signed up I realised that bluey (my micra... so called due to its colour.... it's blue) was born on November 22nd 2000. Mongolia now only accepts 2001s and younger..... Damn

AND SO TEAM LONG WAY BACK WAS BORN....

So called as myself and Mr. Grief will drive to Mongolia and then back again!!! Wish us luck :)

May 8th - The Dickleburgh Crown

THANK YOU SO MUCH TO EVERYONE WHO CAME AND SUPPORTED AT THE DICKLEBURGH CROWN LAST NIGHT!

Why am I shouting do you ask? Well because of the amazing night of fundraising we had at the Dickleburgh Crown of course! Me and Ben once again donned the lab coats for a charity night in aid of mercy corps, help for heroes, dog's trust and macmillian cancer.

The night was a roaring success with much merryment, amazing irish music from the molly maguires, brilliant auctioneering skills from pete and john and, last but not least, the excellant surroundings of karen's pub. Me and Ben would like to again especially thank the above people for all the help they gave in setting up the night.

So what was the amount raised you asked?

£1050!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Amazing I know! Every single penny of that goes to the charities and people should be really pleased with the help they have given to others less fortunate than ourselves!

Thanks again (and check back for photos of the night real soon),

Chris and Ben

Most of the money from the crown is now in and as you can see has boosted our total to 88%.
