Take one 12,000 mile journey, add three Leeds University students, leave to marinade for six weeks in a Mazda Demio. Once hardened cook in the desert heat refrigerated in the desert nights and serve upon arrival in Mongolia. And what does this concoction amount to? The Lost Boys Mongol Rally 2010 for The Christina Nobel Children’s Foundation and The Louis Dundas Center for Children’s Palliative Care.

This treacherous journey across two thirds of the earth’s surface is being completed to raise money for two wonderful charities. For full details about how the money we raise will help please see our Charity section.

To achieve this ambitious task we are looking for like-minded people who can appreciate the magnitude of the task we are undertaking and help us reach our goal, and by doing so help contribute to our two charities.

We are currently looking for sponsorship or contributions towards covering some of the costs of the car and equipment that will be needed to get us to Mongolia.

These costs have no relation to the money that is being put forward for our charities. JustGiving will ensure that every penny put forward towards the registered charities will be delivered to their door with love and thanks. 

Stories of our adventures, intentions and expectations will be appearing in a number of regional newspapers, radio shows and student papers and as sponsors we can give you access to all this publicity.

If publicity is not what you're looking for and simply want to just help us achieve what we set out to do then we happily accept your generous donations.

Sponsorship Options

Option One:

Individual sponsors. You'll receive a giant thank-you on the web-site, your name on the bumper or side of the car, and a digital hug. In addition, you’ll be mentioned on our ‘wall of heroes’ on the Mongol Rally and Sponsors pages. Though we need roughly £6,000 we're seeking sponsorship donations from individuals of £50 - £100.

Option Two:

Mid-Level Sponsors. Reach new heights with a mid-level sponsorship that includes the benefits of the individual sponsorship, and also lands your logo a spot on the car, props on the website, and use of the team name and Mongol Rally specific images for marketing. A suggested investment of £200 for mid-level sponsors.

Option Three:

Corporate Sponsors. This includes all of the benefits of mid-level sponsorship in addition to weekly blog updates from the team, on-site promotions, product testing and reviews, and more. We’re happy to work with you to fulfil your marketing needs." Sponsorship from Corporations are suggested at £300 to £500.
